Involved. Aware. Invested.
Quality Dining, Inc.® believes in giving back to the communities that have been
supportive of its business. Here are a few of the ways we're involved..
Chili’s is proud to support the communities in which we operate. The Give Back Night program is another way to be involved in the community and to support not-for-profit organizations.
What is a Give Back Night?
A Chili’s Give Back Night is a fundraiser where Chili’s “gives back” to not-for-profit organizations. Not-for-profit organizations must be located in the Chili’s trade area and have a valid tax ID number. The fundraising event takes place at a local Chili’s restaurant on a specified evening. The benefiting organization will promote the Give Back Night to community members. The organization will receive 10% of the sales (excluding tax and gratuity) from the organization’s guests when the event voucher is presented.
In 2009, Quality Dining funded 115 Scholars Awards of $1,000 each to deserving high school seniors in communities across Indiana and Michigan where we operate restaurants.

In 2008, Quality Dining, Inc. Burger King employees received $64,000 for continuing education scholarships provided by the Burger King McLamore Foundation.
Twenty-nine Quality Dining, Inc./Burger King employees received a $1,000 Employee Scholarship and seven employees received a $5,000 Employee Scholarship. The awards were made possible due to Quality Dining, Inc. Burger King restaurants support of the Burger King Scholars Program.
Scholarships were awarded to qualified high school seniors and undergraduate students that maintain academic standards, have been a Burger King employee for at least one consecutive year, demonstrate participation in community service and/or co-curricular activities, maintained a good attitude in school and on the job and will enroll or are enrolled in a full or part-time course of study at an accredited two or four year college, university or vocational/technical school.
Quality Dining, Inc.® has helped Catholic schools throughout Northern Indiana, Western Michigan and Southeastern Michigan raise more than $7.5 million since 1982 through its YOU CAN LEND A HAND fundraising program. Catholic school students sell coupon books annually in early February that contain an assortment of coupons from restaurants such as Burger King®, Chili’s® and Papa Vino’s®, as well as local sports venues such as the South Bend Silver Hawks, Fort Wayne Freedom and Mad Ants. Participating Schools have utilized the profits from the fundraiser for school upgrades such as classroom and playground equipment, computer software, library books and capital improvements.
